February 17, 2026 at 3:53 am #1003815DeniseKeymasterA little update from me π€
Some of you may have noticed Iβve been a bit quieter than usual, and I wanted to explain why.Over recent months, much of my time and energy has been devoted to intensive study and examinations. This has included in-depth written tests and practical, hands-on judging assessments, which have required a deep review of my knowledge of dogs in general and the Pomeranian breed in particular.
The process demanded real focus β revisiting the breed standard, studying structure, movement, soundness, and type, and then applying that knowledge in real judging situations. It has been absorbing, challenging, and at times mentally exhausting, but also deeply rewarding.
Through over two years of formal study, education, and successfully completed examinations, Denise Leo is an ANKC (Australian National Kennel Council) Pomeranian Championship Show Judge. This reflects my sound, in-depth knowledge of the Pomeranian breed, its breed standard, structure, movement, and type, built on decades of hands-on experience in the show ring and within a long-established breeding program.
While this meant less time posting and engaging online, it was time well spent. Learning never truly stops in this breed, no matter how many years youβve been involved, and I remain firmly committed to doing things properly, ethically, and always in the best interests of the Pomeranian.
Thank you to everyone who has been patient and supportive. Normal programming β and plenty more Pomeranian content β will resume very soon. πΎ
