What a memorable day for the Dochlaggie Floofy kids at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds! We packed the car with a lively crew of Pomeranians and all their necessary gear, setting out for a special filming of an episode of the “Real Housewives of Melbourne.” Our little stars were ready for their close-up, particularly excited about reuniting with Gamble Breaux, who had previously purchased a creamy white Dochlaggie Pomeranian named Cash. We eagerly anticipated a delightful afternoon in front of the cameras.
Upon arriving at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds in Ascot Vale, I was immediately struck by the stark contrast between my usual experiences here as a Pom dog exhibitor and my current role as a member of the “Real Housewives of Melbourne” cast. Typically, I would navigate several blocks on foot, often pushing a heavily laden dog show trolley uphill. This time, however, we were allowed to drive straight onto the grounds and were provided with convenient and secure parking—a welcome luxury!
My daughter Anita, daughter-in-law Ana, and Zoe, a Dochlaggie Pomeranian puppy owner, joined me for the day. Their presence and assistance were invaluable, helping everything go smoothly. Our antics on the show captivated the audience and captured the international press’s attention, making headlines.
The atmosphere at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds was electric, charged with the excitement of filming and the unmistakable glamour brought by Gamble and the other stars of the “Real Housewives of Melbourne.” Each cast member was impeccably dressed, their elegance perfectly complementing the charm of our Dochlaggie Pomeranians.
Gamble, in particular, stood out with her radiant energy and stylish ensemble, making her the center of attention. She had a wonderful time reconnecting with Cash, the creamy white Pomeranian she had previously adopted from Dochlaggie. Their reunion was heartwarming to witness; Gamble’s genuine affection for Cash shone through as they played and cuddled in front of the cameras, capturing the hearts of everyone on set.
The playful interactions between Gamble and Cash highlighted the deep bond that can form between humans and their pets. It was clear that Cash relished the attention, happily performing tricks and lavishing in the love and treats from his owner. This joyful display not only added a delightful dynamic to the filming but also underscored the unique, loving character of the Pomeranian breed.
The glamour of the “Real Housewives” combined with the endearing qualities of our Dochlaggie Pomeranians made for a spectacular day of filming. The chemistry between the stars and their furry friends enriched the episode, promising to impress viewers with its showcase of high fashion and heartwarming pet interactions.
The experience was such a blast that we all hope to have another opportunity to participate in the show with our Pomeranian fur kids. It was truly a fun and unforgettable day at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds.
Hoping to be able to do it all again one day with the Pomeranian fur kids.
